MUSEU

MUSEU was created in 2001 as a public art project by the Portuguese artist Francisco Tropa. It was built in 2015 as a part of Anozero – Bienal de Coimbra, becoming a small urban piece of equipment managed by a director, a curator, and a conservator, who are allegorical figures built from the concept of the artist. These figures are occupied in rotation by the actual Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra members. The public suggests the exhibitions of objects or other pieces.
