Good songs are stones thrown onto the surface of our days: they disturb the false tranquillity of the mirrored reflection of the sky, they dive down until they touch the coral nerves where our desires and fears of many colors swim, thus inaugurating the tsunami that will make us tremble many years later. Good songs are timeless, even if they have just been recorded, they have the maturity of centuries and speak to our ears from the only time that matters: the present. Forty years or more can be found in each song by Sérgio Godinho, all the minutes wrapped up in a ball of yarn, which sometimes stays in our throats and sometimes comes down to our fists, stones that unleash the series of concentric waves of memory that is yet to be born. In this melomaniac project, the date was just a pretext, it helped to find the exact number of gazes to summon. The illustrators are also walking on a thin layer of ice, looking for a safe place to set foot so that they can move forward, seeing beyond the fog, in other words, illuminating. In the depths of these letters, and beyond the ideas, there is a kaleidoscope of images: a small movement prompts another look, and then a new image.
