Catarina Baleiras (Lisbon, 1963–2000) was a Portuguese visual artist recognized for her work in sculpture and installation, and for her ability to integrate art and public space. His work was also associated with the show “Winter Garden”, by Companhia Olga Roriz. Catarina Baleiras left a significant mark on the Portuguese art scene, being remembered for projects that explored the relationship between art, space and memory.
