Novo Grupo de Escultura Artística de Coimbra is a collective of artists formed in 2022 in the city of Coimbra. Its members are not fixed. The group operates with the free play of contemporary artistic practices, rooted in sculptural objects revealing a pragmatically unsystematic position. Its operating practices are absorbed by life and the density of life, where contingencies and chance are a permanent and unavoidable agent in both prescriptive and creative processes.
